Coat racks, 2010

Every tree is unique, and so are these coat racks. For this project, Pedro Sottomayor developed a CNC machine application that makes cuts into the piece of wood randomly. So, whilst Tree is an industrially manufactured object, its production process always results in a one-off piece.
The final result is a unique minimalist object created from a single piece of wood.
