KNOT

Trivet, 2000

Inspired by objects that serve as bases for other pieces during the firing process that turns delicate clay into hard ceramic, Knot is essentially a simple but multifunctional object. It is meant to be used as a trivet, but can also be used for other purposes or a stand-alone decorative item. The shiny porcelain finish adds a futuristic feel to the object.
