Creative direction, 2012 – to the present

Sotheby’s International Realty is the luxury real estate company born out of the centuries-old Sotheby’s auction house. In Portugal, Sotheby’s International Realty initiated a programme of renovating and opening new offices in 2012.
With the goal of creating unique office spaces designed by a choice selection of the best Portuguese architects, Pedro Sottomayor – in his role as creative director – is responsible for all of the company’s functional requirements, and also represents the customer’s expectations to the design team. He assists in the selection of the architects and oversees management of the projects and their development. Pedro also designs exclusive pieces for each branch, such as CAST chair, CAST table, Front desk.
