Innovation and Design direction, 2004 – to the present

Pedro Sottomayor has had a long-term relationship with Nautilus since 2004 as their Innovation and Design Director in charge of R&D, Design and Product Development.
Nautilus is the major school furniture manufacturer in Portugal, a company with a short but prolific history, having produced an array of high-quality solutions for schools, libraries and auditoriums. The company is also active in the ICT market, providing hi-tech learning solutions. A one-of-a-kind company (it was named one of the most innovative companies in Portugal), Nautilus can manufacture products in steel, wood or plastic.
Over the years, Pedro has been able to develop a stable relationship with the furniture company. The fruits of the close relationship between Nautilus and Pedro are perhaps best illustrated by the Uni, One, Team, Ergos and Netboard school furniture lines, which have become a staple of schools throughout Portugal and abroad.
